The 11.15-carat Williamson Pink Star sold at Sotheby’s Hong Kong on 7 October 2022 for approximately US$57.7 million. This cushion-shaped natural diamond was graded Fancy Vivid Pink and Internally Flawless.

The auction house reported a sale price of US$57,736,078, equivalent to roughly US$5.18 million per carat. That arithmetic illustrates the intensity of this particular sale; it is not a pricing formula for other stones.
